При слове «степь» многие представляют унылые бескрайние просторы с желтой травой, монотонными ветрами, редкими оврагами и пригорками. Это обманчивое впечатление. В степи есть особая красота, надо только приглядеться и увидеть ее.

У Т.Г.Шевченко, Н.В.Гоголя, М.А.Шолохова есть прекрасные описания степных просторов. Они наполнены любовью к родному краю, зарисовками бескрайних пространств в разное время года.

Особенно хороши степи в момент восхода солнца. Медленно отступают сумерки, воздух прохладен и свеж, птицы еще не начали приветственных песен в честь пробуждения природы. Ветер притаился в траве. Наступает минута перед рассветом, когда природа на мгновение замирает.

Небо на востоке светлеет. Притихший ветерок устремляется вверх, пригибая к земле траву и редкие кустики. Вот несмело пискнула какая-то пичужка. Через секунду – другая, третья, птичий хор становится многоголосным. И через несколько минут над горизонтом восходит солнце.

Оно быстро поднимается над горизонтом, озаряя ровным светом степные просторы. Воздух свеж и прозрачен. Под яркими лучами серебрится роса, но через несколько минут она исчезает. Становится жарко. Ветер приносит запахи степных трав. Новый день наступил.
